We have recommitted to look for the savings within government. We have made that commitment to the people of Manitoba.
Pallister is one of those strange politicians who talks about "government" like it's a terrible thing. You know what the government does? It provides health care. It polices the streets. It puts out fires. It paves roads and builds bridges.
So keep that in mind when Pallister promises to cut government, and stands by that commitment.
Oh, and then somehow says that doesn't mean cutting services. So he'll cut government, but not anything that government does. Sure. Except that hasn't ever happened anywhere, and he knows it.
